Why Confession?
When you go to Confession you are not telling God something he doesn’t already know, and you're not showing him something he doesn’t already see. You are giving him something he doesn’t already have: your broken heart.

The sinner wounds God’s honor and love, his own human dignity…and the spiritual well-being of the Church, of which each Christian ought to be a living stone.
